TEAM FELIX ASSELIN WINS QUEBEC JUNIOR PROVINCIAL TITLE
Congratulations to Hardline Curling's Team Felix Asselin, Marc-Alexandre Dion, Lewis South, and Sami Guimond-Jaber with coach Benoit Forget on capturing the Quebec Junior Provincial championship that took place in Val D'Or! The boys were solid all week long, winning all their games, and beating pre-tournament favorites Jean-Michel Milot not once, but twice, both by a score of 9-4. Team Felix won the championship final game 7-4 over Team Bushey of L'Estrie region.
Team Felix Asselin will now represent Quebec at the Canadian Junior Championships from February 4 to 12, 2012 in Napanee ON.

Congratulations Felix Asselin - Award recipient
At the Quebec Junior Provincials 2012 in Val D'Or, Felix Asselin was awarded the Cedric Grondin award of sportsmanship. The award is given to the junior curler who best exemplifies perseverance, determination, and dedication to the sport. This award was created by Curling Quebec in honour of the young curler Cedric who died in 2003. The award was presented by his father, Michel Grondin.
Congratulations Benoit Forget - Awarded the Asham Coach of Excellence
At the Quebec Junior Provincials 2012 in Val D'Or, the Asham award for male coach of excellence was awarded to Benoit Forget of Glenmore Curling Club. The award was presented to Mr. Forget by the vice-president of Curling Quebec, Martin Adam.
